I created the entire visual concept for the 4-book Sherlock Holmes collection and its box for AMOLER, including cover design, custom color palettes, and the graphic layout of the collection as a unified set. Every detail—from the typography to the box structure—was crafted to evoke the mysterious, classic aura of Conan Doyle’s iconic detective while maintaining coherence across volumes. The design had to balance traditional elegance (evoking Victorian and detective-novel tropes) with clean, modern graphical touches to appeal both to classic readers and newer audiences.
The challenge was to make each book stand out individually while also feeling like part of a singular, collectible series. I organized visual hierarchy, spine design, and color coding in a way that when the books are placed together in the box, they form a visual rhythm—an ensemble that feels intentional and high-end. The box itself serves not only as packaging but as an extension of the collection’s identity, integrating reliefs, texture, or finishing touches (depending on print constraints) to reinforce the prestige and allure of owning the set as a whole.
